The purpose of this group is to support, connect, discuss, & collaborate with others who work or live in Fluvanna County. We provide Fluvanna business owners/entrepreneurs networking opportunities to build business relationships, learn about the member’s products, services, & skills for relationship building & referral purposes, sponsor & participate in workshops, seminars, & learning opportunities, & participate in community events for promotion that lend credibility to WIB and WIB members. As a 501©7, we are considered a social club so our primary source of income and spending is member based. Dues and direct donations to a 501©7 are not tax deductible. 

It’s all about relationships! We fully understand that your focus is on promoting your business so we keep that in mind in all we do! Participation in our group is unique – it comes in many forms. We have two Facebook pages – one private/members only and one public. We host three core networking opportunities: Monthly Coffee Meetups, Monthly Luncheon (often has a speaker), and after hours – Wine, Women & Business event (locations vary). There are many other events hosted by WIB or individual members throughout the year. There is no participation requirement in our group, but we do encourage you to stay involved as much as you can.   • JOIN Your Fluvanna Women in Business Members Group. This is our members only group. A Board member will reach out to you via Facebook Messenger with membership options. 
  • Important: Be sure to answer ALL 3 questions for your request to be reviewed by our Admin.
• STEP 2 - Select which membership fits you best: Memberships available:
  • Individual - $65 - For one (1) Facebook profile
  • Partnership - $85 - For partnerships - two (2) Facebook profiles
  • Business -$130 - For businesses with multiple admins. This allows for up to three (3) Facebook profiles. 
  • Supporter Role - $20 - This is perfect for that individual who doesn’t have a business to promote, but likes to be active & assist the group.

The majority of our members utilize social media to expand their reach. For those members not active on Facebook, please email fluvannawib@gmail.com and we will manually add your membership email address to our newsletter distribution list.

• WIB members receive updates via our email newsletter and two Facebook pages.
  • Your Fluvanna Women in Business Members Group 
    • This is for communicating privately with your fellow WIB members.  
    • It is platform where you can ask for help with your business, offer your services among our group, let members know what you are involved in, brainstorm with one another about best practices, share ideas with other members on how to improve our efforts to build our business, and build a network in our community that you can rely on for guidance, advice, and support.  
  • Your Fluvanna Women in Business & FRIENDS
    • This is our PUBLIC page - No fees or application process. 
    • This is the place where members can place advertisements for your business, share event details, promote your services or product, etc.
    • We encourage users to limit posts so that the feed remains informative. 
    • Followers, aka WIB Friends, not only stay up to date with what WIB members are doing in the community, they are allowed to try out the page before they become an actual member.
